Atmosphere is great, and JBT are playing great, but this is a fairly muddy recording to my ears. Could be the venue, whatever, but your download time isn't as well spent here as 10 positive reviews suggests.

I haven't really Listened to much JBT before but I will now, sound quality is good, show rocks,
OCEAN IS AMAZING, thats some damn fine guitar playing.

Subject: A great show!
An amazing sounding recording ... This sounds like a million bucks. when the audience sings / claps along you can hear it perfect proportionally. Tristan Prettyman, who has a large section of live shows already on the archive, opened the show as well as a lot of the U.S. JBT shows in 2005, including the May / June 2005 tour and then the Oct 2005 tour. This was the last show she did with JBT and this was the one (or one of the only times) the two of them performed "No Woman No Cry" during JBT's set. It sounds like an amazing duet. You can download Tristan's set from this evening by clicking here. "Ocean" is an amazing 12 minute solo performance by John doing amazing things with his fingers on the guitar... "Something's Got To Give" is great as always. "Betterman" is a great long rock song, with highs and lows and energy and solos from each member. "Pickapart" is amazing and has some great parts, and works amazingly as a set closer. A solid show and it sounds like it would have been a magical night to be there in Somerville.

JBT was good at Copley... even better in Somerville. I'm listening to a 16+ min version of Pickapart that just cooks. If you're looking for a JBT show for your collection, look no farther. Very high quality - thanks for taping/uploading!
